Terms of Service

Business: BowlesTech Services – Smithfield, Utah

1. Services Offered

BowlesTech Services provides IT-related services including, but not limited to:

  • PC and device repair

  • Network setup and troubleshooting

  • Virus/malware removal

  • Data recovery and backup

  • Software installation

  • Consulting and tech support

All services are offered on a per-project or hourly basis, with scope determined by the initial quote or service agreement.

2. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about devices, networks, or issues.

  • Ensure full access to systems needing service.

  • Back up all important data prior to service.

  • Understand that work may void manufacturer warranties.

3. Payment Terms

  • Quotes are estimates unless stated as flat-rate.

  • Payment is due upon service completion unless otherwise arranged.

  • Late payments may incur a fee of $10 per week.

  • Refunds are not guaranteed and are evaluated case-by-case.

4. Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance.

  • Missed appointments without notice may be subject to a $25 fee.

5. Liability Disclaimer

BowlesTech Services is not responsible for:

  • Data loss, corruption, or hardware failure that occurs during or after service.

  • Issues caused by prior unauthorized repairs or third-party software.

  • Downtime, system damage, or loss resulting from malware, user error, or hardware limitations.

Clients are responsible for backing up their data before any service begins.

6. Warranties

Unless otherwise stated in writing, no warranties are provided for services. Replacement parts may include third-party components with their own warranties.

7. Privacy

Client information is kept confidential and used only for service-related communication. No personal data is shared or sold.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. By using our services, you agree to resolve any disputes under Utah jurisdiction.
